We are seining for Chinook for tagging. The tags are visual, not radio. They are
plastic line, threaded through the dorsal fin and knotted. Each tag has an ID number.
After spawning, people will search Phillips spawning tributaries for tagged "morts".
The data will tell fish biologists something. I'm not sure what.
We captured thirteen chinook, up to 44", and about nine coho.
