May 2009 - Florence Lake Excursion

This was the site of George's saw mill. He sold the mill about 2007.
The crane and other equipment were cut up and scraped and the site was cleared of logs and debris.
It was sad to see just a clearing where George used to cut our lumber orders from his excellent old logs.
The logs he used were salvaged from the lake, having been felled and abandoned decades earlier.
