Most of the pictures were taken at or near our cabin on a bay on Stuart Island, British Columbia.
We refer to it as Edna Bay, in memory of Martha's aunt Edna.
At the cabin an unattended PC, running Linux and powered by a small hydro generator and/or
solar panel, controls a Davis weather station and three Olympus C-4040Z digital still cameras.
The software used to capture pictures from the cameras is gphoto2.
Weather reports and webcam pictures are sent multiple times per day to this site
via satellite connection to the internet.
